Heres another cast iron table saw which looks exactly the same as the Fox.

At £399 it seems a far better deal then Rutlands was charing (£499) but the problem is I do not think you get a sliding table with it.

But that may not matter to those members who have a small workshop, and so cannot use a table saw with a sliding table. Because now they can get the same cast iron saw that other members got in the last couple of weeks, but at £100 cheaper.

It seems that the Rutlands sale is now over so if you missed it and still want one, get over to Scott and Sargeant and bag what seems a bargain. If you do want the sliding table you could always buy it as an extra.

Whether you want a saw with a sliding table or not, £399 has got to be a great deal.

Cheers

Funnily enough I was looking at it myself earlier and came to the same conclusion. Couldn't even find it as an optional extra. If it really is the same as the Fox/Perform one I wonder if the sliding tables from those would fit. :-k
Looks like a solid machine though.

Old,

Add vat and shipping total £521.70

Don't you just hate that? Thanks for pointing that out Old.

Sorry guys, Rutlands price was including the dreaded VAT and I just didn't think about it when I came across the Scott and Sargeant price.

Cheers

That saw looks identical to the SIP model

Chris.
It looks like a Sip because it is a Sip. I bought mine from Scott and Sargeant some 18 months ago, why they label it iTECH I don't know. But I can assure everyone it is a Sip.

Probably because (as I understand it) SIP is an importer not a manufacturer, so S&S have just gone direct to the same Chinese maker.
