Is this NVR switch powerful enough?

Is it rated high enough for a 2000w router? Specifically the big Triton.

The others on the Axi website are a bit big physically as to where I want to put them on the router table (should have planned ahead - doh)

I would not think so.

Your Router is rated at 2000w and is a brush motor so is in excess of the basic 2.5hp (1865 w) quoted for the recommended limits of the unit. I assume the Triton is soft start which would probably limit the switch on load within the limits of the switch contacts but running full load will probably be too much.

The 1.5 Hp (1119w) quoted for the induction motor limit, presumably because they are expecting possibly double that for starting also makes me think that the unit will probably not hold up the the loads long term.

In that case anyone know where I can get a "stripped down" switch like this that is rated high enough? The other ones on the axi site are packed into a plastic box that are too big for where I want to slot this.
