Just searched for Router on Amazon, and got as the number 1 and 2 result as below.
So is it only pronunciation that differs for the product, and written language is incoherent, at least to a computer?
If it is, then AI like chatGPT must be a nightmare to get real help from 🤣🤣😂🤣😅🤣😂

Option A
Bosch Home and Garden router POF 1200 AE (1200 W, in carton packaging) https://amzn.eu/d/hCIaBsU

Option B
TP-Link WiFi 6 OneMesh Router, AX3000 Mbps Gigabit VPN Router, Dual-Core CPU Fibre Router, WPA3 Cybersecurity, Ideal for Gaming Xbox/PS4/Steam, Compatible with Alexa (Archer AX53) https://amzn.eu/d/bU9Gl9k

At least you didn’t get offered the ghastly personal data-grabbing eero router from Amazon. The same one that Zen have decided to be their supplied router to new customers. Given the debacle of their latest upgrade to version 8 rendering many folks AVM routers unstable, you’d think they’d know better.

Garbage in, Garbage out. You need to be a bit more specific than just 'Router', that's why there's a drop-down menu to the left of the input box, leaving it at the default 'All' will display anything associated with the word 'Router'

As an aside this is the best explanation I've read of how walls and floors affect wifi signal and how strong a signal you need for services like streaming, voip, videoconferencing, email, etc to work.

We just got a new router and the first impression is rubbish wifi, but it is likely all down to a change of position in the house.

This is really going to improve your routing technique :)))

Nothing like a length of cable, that can easily pass through a wall if there is a hole !

This is the same as to get the right answer you need to ask the right question.

Sadly no, cat 5 or 6 would have to be drilled through 4 block walls, run under floors, around doorways and the entire kitchen ripped out to give access !
Alternatively chase two walls floor to ceiling, replaster, redecorate and pull cable through most of the length of the loft to go up and over. Easier but still not OK.
Wifi boosters / mesh whatever will be the way to go.
