Is Ronseal Worktop Oil ok for Chopping Boards?

Hi All

I have bought some Ronseal worktop oil, which is labelled as anti-bacterial. There is no guidance on whether or not it can be used on cutting / chopping boards.

Anyone know for sure?

I can't honestly say I know for sure but my assumption would be that if were food safe it would be labelled as such very clearly, as it would be a selling point. you could try their customer services, or looking up a data sheet on the product

Good call on the msds- looks like it is mainly mineral oil

How much was it, you can get. 5l of proper mineral oil for £20 which is food safe.
