I bought this about 5/6 years ago and it was described as a 352. Now, I don't care if it is a Startrite or not because it has been excellent.

Having a cuppa today and with plenty of time on my hands, I wondered if it really was a Startrite because there are no markings/labels to show the the manufacturer. It has been painted at some stage before I got it. The only thing I have done is change the guides to bearings from the original blocks. From all photos I have seen of Startrites it certainly looks the part.

Anyone confirm or otherwise?

I have a 352 and it does not look like yours I think yours may be a 301, but I do think it's a startrite.

Actually, You're right Kevin. It's a 301S, not a 352.

I shoulda noticed the motor was on the outside and not inside the cabinet like on a 352.

It also has the same really cheap-looking wooden block with brass brush on the inside, just like my 351.
