Is Holly OK for furniture ?

I have just brought home some 12-13 inch holly and was thinking of making some stools I know they would be heavy but I don't know if it is to brittle to make the legs. I've used Cherry and Ash before and never had anything break has anybody used Holly for this type of thing ?

Mornin' Ken, I would have thought it would be OK, but I wouldn't make the legs quite as thin as I would with Ash. Also as you say it will make the stool heavier. A bit bland as well unless you intend using stain or colour, there is very little figure/grain on Holly.
