after turning it has been worked out with Arbortech. Fantastic instrument for carving, but one has to get used to it as it eats the wood like an entire army left without food for a month. To smooth it up you need some nice files.
The wood was left raw without finish
Maximum diameter 28 cm.
The shape is inspired from the fruit of nigella damascene. Mother nature is a well of inspiration ...
