Indeed. Don't forget Chernobyl was a steam explosion.
It's often described as a meltdown or similar in the more excitable media (the design was such it wasn't possible for it to melt down in any circumstances), but the real problem was too much heat and not enough cooling water.

Ploughing is going out of fashion anyway. Apparently it's very bad for the soil.
That is also being said to gardeners, keep soil disruption to an absolute minimum to allow the micro organisms to thrive rather than the old ways of digging it over.

Maybe its a generational thing but as soon as you mention farming or engineering to Americans (or so it seems to me) they all start wearing boiler suits but we don't seem to (as much) should I start wearing boiler suits?
