ID mobile network..any good?

I'm on Vodafone at the moment, however I've been informed at the end of my contract I will be transferred to the ID network.
...should I be concerned?

Hadn't heard of ID until you mentioned it, so had to google it.

ID is Carphone Warehouse's own phone network so I don't understand how if you have a contract with Vodafone how it can be transferred to ID. ID is using Three's network so you will need to check the coverage in your area.

Who told you that you will be transferred?

The assistant said I could not continue with a sim only agreement with V.

I know nothing about mobile contracts - i'm PAYG and need to diarise the call every 6 months to prevent being bumped off the network . BUT is your contract with CW rather than Vodafone ? If so CW could be moving their supplier to ID from Vodafone.
As a matter of principle I would look around for other deals - may or may not take them

I’m on a SIM only agreement with Vodafone., no problem. I’ve found Vodafone to be very good (especially if you travel abroad) - far better than O2 who I was with previously, though amusingly, I always found O2s customer service to be excellent.

A couple of months ago i was looking around for mobile deals and came across iD.

And like you i'd never heard of them. So i too googled them.

Yes its Carphone warehouse. Piggybacked on to the 3 network.

Really unreliable data round here and so intend to move to another network quickly
