made an i-pad pro stand for my dad, thought I'd share it, it's very simple just a groove in some redwood pine which was spray lacquered with clear gloss, it should come in handy.
I used hand tools for it all, mortise gauge to mark out the lines, chisel to chop out the waste then followed by the hand router with 1/4" blade to get it down to final depth, edges rounded off with a rasp then flat bast-uard file.
