I've always had problems collecting stock from the woodyard especially lengths over 2.2 m.... but not anymore :D

Bought this beauty a couple of weeks ago from a farmer who had it stored in one of his barns for over 20 years.... Fitted a new battery and 'BINGO' fired-up first time. It's a bit noisy with a top speed of a whacking 50 mph and no servo for braking so I have to literally brake with both feet and when I drive over a bump the whole thing bounces like a kangaroo... But not bad for 50 Euros :?:

Even the Stig would be impressed!!!

One of my clients has a 1964 one of those which he is selling but I think he was hoping for more than 50 Euros

I was going to say I liked it until I saw the Hilux. Love those things.

I transport my wood in one of these:

Did they crane the camels in to the pick up, or is it a spoof. Camels dont like walking backwards and sitting down in the back of a pickup.

David Blaine put them there....

Having driven LR's for years on site 'Nuff said is the word :)

I am restricted to just over 6' - that's the length from the boot to the dashboard - my car, which is a saloon, has rear seats which fold down.
Makes a mess of the upholstery though!

Notice the rear tire bulge.....horribly overloaded...ohhhh welllll. Me, I haul all of my lumber in my Nissan Maxima with the rear seats folded down. It will take 9ft. boards & still close the trunk lid. When sheet goods are required I take a cutting plan with me & the supplier cuts it accordingly using their panel saw. These too go into the car & the trunk lid closed. Maybe I should be saying the lid to the "boot" ?
