We have a Makita (plunge saw) and couple of vacs that take Henry hoses.

The outside of the Henry hose (at the far end where the tubes fit) is roughly the same size as the inside of the Makita dust port, but it's a bit tight and, as it's cut on an angle too, they don't fit together too well.

I just got a short length of kitchen waste pipe and cut a slice out of it lengthways, so it fits as a sleeve over both the Makita's dust port and the hose. UPVC will bend in boiling water, so you can make it a springy fit, but I usually just wrap some tape round it. It's worked fine for ages.

If you want to go the whole hog, you can buy Henry hoses as spares pretty easily, so you might get one and adaptit permanently. Probably a lot cheaper than a Festool hose anyway.

But the Axminster idea is also a good one, as Numatic, who make the extractors, also make Henries, and it's likely they have a hose that will fit.
