Went to Homebase in Godalming yesterday and they are having a closing down sale.
I think it’s a franchise issue and nio a national closure.
They have 20-30% off most things. A bit stingy if you ask me. They won’t do further reductions as the bailiffs are being called in (from what I could gather) and stock will likely be put to auction. (Watch out bidspotter lol).
I also suspect Homebase would rather go out of business than give anyone a bargain
20% off paints, varnishes and oils. Good opportunity to stock up or over spend. Not sure when it’s closing, could be today, next week etc..
