Just fantastic. All of the bits of that lathe have little spots of blood on them. No wonder he doesn't shave!

Love this sort of low tech DIY stuff.

Thanks John. Fascinating, just shows what you can do with the minimum of tools and lots of ingenuity. It's crude but effective. Half an hour of wondering if he spills a lot of blood.

Was that really a kitchen knife he was using towards the end? :shock:

I have to admit that I have used a saw to part off a particularly difficult job, but I do believe that to be a one off!

I must admit to him using the hammer setting on his drill when he's drilling the bits-a-wood amused me somewhat!
