Home made centres

Hi all,
Has anyone seen the homemade tools site showing a home made drive centre? It is no more than a MT drill arbor with a cutter from a tap reseating tool fixed to the end ( arbor may need to be heated to soften). Claimed to give a good grip with minimal damage to the wood. I am seriously thinking of making one.

A blank end arbour arbour might be a better way to go? The 'blank end' is soft and machines easily - eg http://www.arceurotrade.co.uk/Catalogue ... End-Arbors .

Axminster were selling drill arbors for less than £1 in their recent clearance sale so I bought a few - just in case they come in handy. So now they will indeed come in handy. Good idea about the Arceurotrade ones though.
