A friend has been asked to mill some holm oak and has asked for some advice on its uses in joinery.I am not really able to help him as all i know about it is it warps badly and was mainly used for tool handles and maul heads etc.The owner of the tree wants to use it in a house restoration.Anyone used it or know anything about kilning it.
