Hinges....

So I'm nearing completion of an oak tv cabinet I've been making for the last million years (seemingly) and I need to pick some hinges for the front door.

Now the last unit I made the wife wasn't too happy with the hinges I fitted which are obviously clearly visible from the front.

I could fit concealed hinges but judging by the amount of info available they seem a bit of a pain to fit? Also they're not very traditional so I was wondering what other options I have?

Can anyone recommend some pivot hinges? Would these work OK?

They're not traditional but I woudn't say they are a pain to fit, in fact since they are adjustable they are easier than standard butt hinges as you can tweak the doors once they're on to give you a nice even gap all the way round.

I have used brass pivot hinges before and find them great, the only thing is that as they are recessed into the wood, these need to be done as you are building the cabinet.

I like the look of the brass pivot hinges but now I've assembled the unit I'm not sure I could squeeze a chisel in to cut out the mortices.

Can you get narrow concealed hinges? Reason being I was hoping to mount it on the right hand side where there is a protruding 70mm deep leg, and the door is 24mm deep. So I have 46mm to mount the concealed hinge piece.

I'm not sure I could squeeze a chisel in to cut out the mortices.

It can be done, I know because I've done it. It is a pain though.

With the concealed hinges are you talking about the Blum kitchen type hinge or this sort of thing:
