I have a friend who manages to fall somewhere in between the two camps. He recently bought a new bike, of the two he test rode he turned one down because it was so powerful that he could not keep it under 30mph no matter how much attention he paid to it.

So he went for the less powerful bike and keeping his license

Do not know about cool but leathers work a lot better then jeans while hitting the black top road surface.
My little 1800 cc Honda is close to 900 lbs,I think it would go thru a new car these days.I did see a Triump 3 cylinder go thru a car pulling out in front of him.He was doing 30 mph,and his front tire was inside on the passenger door,both were killed.The car was bent in half.That was only a 30 mph accident,oh and the biker had the right of way,he just didn`t have the time to move over.
I think they give out lic. to easy anymore,I think a monkey could pass it (the Licence test)

Over here you only have to have pulse it seems.
The first car I had wrecked the taxi driver turned out to be both licensed and legally blind!
