Why does anyone think that anyone else is remotely interested in what they sent a post on? Some posts are interesting, some not. Some posts are funny, some not. Most are, at least, worth looking at - but I've not seen one yet that's been enhanced by my knowing that it was sent on a jcb123 using crappy talk or some such device.
What's the fascination?

I always got the impression that the phone or whatever inserts those messages whether you like it or not, maybe as a form of advertising?

(It works just the same as most advertising on me; it makes me very reluctant to buy an iPhone or investigate Tapatalk...!)

I think the same thing when I see them.

However they are automated messages and the user probably don't know how to, have forgotten to or don't know they can turn off these messages.

The default email signature on the iPad is "sent from my iPad". The one on the iPhone you can probably guess. It's easy to change and you've just reminded me to do it.
it's an obvious advert for the company but I don't see why it makes you so upset.

I like the sig line that says this post was NOT sent by tapatalk or whatever. Can't remember whos it is though.

Can you believe that people camped outside of apple stores to buy an I phone 5. I have seen comments that it is lovely to look at, but the MAP is the pits. Every one to there own.

I use tapatalk and posted this via tapatalk. You can turn the message off via the settings menu.

Tapatalk is a mobile phone app that makes browsing compatible forums easier on phones
