Hi everyone,
I'm glad to join the forum and as my first post I shall introduce myself
Im 56 yrs old , unemployed due to disability so Im a in the shed guy.
I was formaly an owner of a hand and tools business, originally an engineer in the thermal plastics industry , up to
National Sales and Marketing Manager for a large Plastics Manufacturer prior to leaving to starting my own business some
20 years ago ( to spend more time at home ).
I am not a rich guy anymore lol , but I have always had this love of working with
pallet wood , currently I am building a Camper Trailer that will carry my trusty
companion Sheila " my mobility scooter " to get out and about more starting
this summer.
I share my progress with a youtube channel ( which I wont promote ) unless
allowed as it is not my intention to join forum in order to promote my Channel.
Anyway . So far Ive made a table which folds out into a single bed sofa for it, I
have made a rock ola juke box media entertainment system for it , coffee machine
lol I need my coffee and a coffee caddy. Im in middle of the rear end of
camper, to allow access for my scooter etc etc , and shall this year follow
with the remainder of the trailer / camper.
I am currently working on a second bed similar to a bunk which stores in the
top internal camper, lowers down via guides and a pully system when a second
bed is required, goes back up when not in use, will have led lighting so
when on the folding table in sofa mode its not in the way. I have other
little gadgets in works too , everything is made from refurbished pallet wood
and doesnt cost me a penny.
I am not a craftsman , but technically minded .
All this will be contained in the camper trailer which will
have no more than 8 x 4 feet floor space and 5 feet high.
so basically its to share ideas , learn as well etc etc
