Help sought from member in the USA

I am an avid collector of American pocket watches and have an interest in one currently on e bay. The seller is in the USA, and is one of many who will not ship abroad. I was hoping a member who lives there might be willing to buy it for me and ship it over to the UK. I would of course transfer the money up front.

It obviously depends how important it is to you but you could consider companies like Stackry.
An added benefit is that you get to choose the value for customs of the item you have sent over.

I previously had a kind member on the Harrison Lathes group do this for me in similar circumstances. So have put out a request there too.

Now resolved with help from another Harrison lathes group member. He even got the price down by throwing in an offer ! So all good thanks.
Still unclear why many sellers will happily use e bays global shipping programme, others flatly refuse. I have asked those who refuse what the reason is, yet to ever receive a reply, so I am none the wiser.
