Hello All,
I have just got hold of a Jet 310 P/T and I now need to do something for dust extraction. We all know about the dangers that wood dust poses so I was thing about following the same rough idea of Barry Burgess' set up that being a cyclone and 0.5 micron filters on a chip extractor. I have found Lyndhurst FM300S 3HP extractor (at a good price  ) which I will be using as the base of my set up.
I had though about following something similar to this guys setup
What you don't see in the picture is that it's wall mounted and the cyclone drops into a steel drum under it.
Partly thinking of something like this as I have a pretty small workshop and a dual bag extractor will take up a lot of room once you add in the cyclone.
To the bits that I need some advice on.
What issues will I get if I take my two bag system and make it into a single bag?
What sort of drop in airflow might I expect to see given that I would expect something like 3000 m3/hr at the moment?
Will 3HP be too much airflow for a single filter?
Thanks for any help you can provide.
