Hi everyone.

I am thinking about manufacturing a completely new type of device for woodworkers, but first I am trying to understand if there would be market for it.
Would you be so kind as to support me with a quick survey?
If so, just let me know and I will send a PM.
Thank you very much - any help is really appreciated!

Yes, I am interested...

That is a very wide ranging statement,

but first I am trying to understand if there would be market for it
What is the it ?

If it is a small workshop the size of a portaloo with the technology of a tardis then very interested as I would have room for a nice sliding panel saw and a big spindle molder for starters.

I feel I can guess what sort of tool it is, based on the OP's forum name, and their previous posts.
I am therefore prepared to wager that it will not incorporate the "technology" if a TARDIS.

Someone once came up with the premise, that if one could come up with another unique colour to add to the rainbow - what would it be? The problem then arises about how to describe this colour, and there seems to be no way of doing so without relating it to a form of one of the other preexisting colours. For example - Bee Purple.

So, I would be very interested to know what this new tool could possibly be. And would also be interested in taking part in a survey.

Hi
Thank you.
I am talking about a surface quality measurement tool of a completely new type!
Paolo
Could you say more about what you mean by "surface quality". I realise you may be wary of giving so much detail about your new tool that some rascal pinches the idea and gets the patent in before you do but .... "surface quality" could mean many things in woodworking.

Now you know (PM sent!)
Thank you!

Bluouge.. ( portmanteau of Bleu and Rouge* ) pronounced "blooj" .. from a VW ad that ran here a few years ago when the indecisive customer was asked by the salesman what colour car he would like to buy.
*The joke being where they are on the spectrum in relation to it and each other.

Didn't Newton already add another colour to the rainbow, to make it seven colours?
