Hello, I'm in London, a software engineer and a hobbyist.

I do my wood work (largely with handtools) from https://blackhorseworkshop.co.uk/ as I have no space at home other than my small garden.

I mainly make small pieces of furniture for fun, completing one or two projects a year.

They also have a woodshop there with a small selection of woods they sell, belong to https://www.fallenandfelled.co.uk/
I went on a metalworking course there over a weekend and found it very good. There is also a cafe. To use their workshop you do need to go through their induction course regardless of experience.
