Hello from a new workshop owner

Good morning,
Thanks for accepting me - such a useful site!
I've just finished building my workshop, although I'm going to be adding a woodburner this winter as although it is insulated, it's still cold!
I have inherited a lot of tools - power and hand powered, so thought I'd build a workshop to house them all, as I've always wanted to make things, but never had the space.

I have a large shed / workshop planned, but not started yet, so currently I'm doing all my 'shedding stuff' in my single car garage, but I ought to get on with it soon as my old car is now without a home until that happens.
But I've recently priced up the cost of armoured cable and new consumer unit to the end of the garden where the space is, that comes to about a £1000, and that's before I buy wood to make the shop!!

Enjoy your workshop, just work harder to keep warm, ha ha

Welcome David - good luck with your workshop and don’t forget to add a carbon monoxide detector as all solid fuels can produce it . Fossil fuels sorry

I'm planning on using it to burn off all my offcuts to use to make cuppas!
