Helical block for Record Power PT260

Hi,

Does anyone know if there is a helical cutter block upgrade available for the Record Power PT260 planer thicknesser? The usual suspects (Shelix, Lux Cut 3) don't mention this machine specifically, but I notice that a Shelix block is available for the Metabo HC260 which (correct me if I'm wrong) is basically the same machine as the RP. Are the cutter blocks interchangeable between these machines?

Apologies if covered elsewhere, search revealed nothing.

Shelix should be able to tell you that through customer support. I know they do on occasion take the roller from someone who has a model they haven't done yet and use that roller to make one.

Ouch! Just seen the price. The HC260 Shelix + postage is more expensive than a brand new PT260 :shock:
