Hegner Tensioner

Good afternoon all,
I have recently got an older Hegner Multicut2 with the blade tensioner at the back.Does anyone know if this machine can be upgraded to the cam lever type tensioner at the front of the arm as per the current Multicut2 model,thank you

I think you would have to change the whole top arm assembly as the old version had no recesses in it

You might post a picture of your top arm to confirm that

You used to be able to buy the tensioner assembly but can't seem to locate anyone selling it now, hegner parts would be a horrendous price if bought separately I suspect

I spoke about this in a recent thread... Which one to buy... choice of 2 as far as I can ascertain you can fit a new top arm but it costs around £130.00.
