It is an up scaled version of a 25mm mic and will measure 100mm :shock: Could it have been a teaching aid ?

If it's still to a normal tolerence, then it could have been intended to be used for measuring larger high precision parts; before CAD-CAM and inboard measuring we still needed to make large precise objects.
