This Knob & tote set are made of hardwood and was removed from a Stanley plane the tote was damaged but has been repaired. The knob needs sanding, the tote has already been sanded and they would then require a good varnish applied. There is the length of stud threaded at both ends for fixing the tote. You would have to reuse the fixings from your old plane to attach the knob.
