A big thank you to all the members that have helped me over this last year. Their advice and guidance has enabled my woodworking hobby to progress and start to move in different directions.

I do very much appreciate the kindness you have shown and particularly those who have invited me to their workshop and home, as it's great to meet others and to talk about woodworking.

To you all and not forgetting the hard work of the Moderators who keep this wonderful UKWorkshop buzzing, I wish you a really happy New Year for 2016 and beyond.

Malcolm

Ditto, Happy New Year everyone.

2015 was meant to be year of the cyclone, I failed on that but I did get the money together so I'll be ordering one soon. In 2016 I intend to build a dresser, redo the kitchen worktops and hopefully the doors. Replace the front door. Complete the larder, make a sideboard. Get a scroll saw to make Christmas decorations for next Christmas. Pretty sure not everything will be completed.

I had the great pleasure of meeting a few members at Richard Arnold's open day in 2015. I hope to get to more this year, assuming there are more open days. It's great to meet up with members whose sage advice and pithy comments I value.

Thanks for the New Year wishes.

I have followed your advice re bandsaw setup which I also thank you for.

Best wishes.
