Like many other people, I have a few old planes and other tools. I'm interested in how they were used, and why details of their design were important.

So it's always good to come across another professional woodworker who still uses them, cares about them and understands them. One such, new to me, is Adam Lynch, of Whitacre Bespoke Carpentry, in Birmingham.

He's already got a selection of short videos on YouTube but is having a go at increasing his presence there. I've already watched a few that I think may be of interest to others on this forum. Don't expect studio quality production - this is one guy with his phone in his hand or on a tripod - but if it's the content that you want, and you like the idea of someone doing conservation work using some of the same tools as were used a century or three ago, do give him a go.
