Inspired by the Traditional tool chest but a bit smaller, I can just (grunt0 pick this one up.


 
That's stunning work mate, i really want to build a tool box, do you have the plans for this chest? The anarchists tool chest is the one I will build at some stage.

Also nice chisels ;)

Thanks mate, I dont have the plans but if you need to know the dimensions of his one let me know. I just guessed, It has come out pretty good for my needs...could have been 10% smaller for carrying around.

Have you varnished/waxed/oiled it ?
It has two coats of Danish and then a wire wool wax. I prefer an understated finish and dislike the yellowing too much oil produces.

It is the first item I have made using only the hand tools, felt inspired by Paul sellers and Roy Underhill.

Very Very nice. Practical yet elegant. Do I espy Japanese nails in a few places?
