There's a lot of chat about plane aesthetics, paint colours etc.
What about this sort of stuff for inspiration?
I sometimes think woodworkers are a bit timid.

And most bikers wouldn't touch that thing with a bargepole! Those are made for doing 3 miles up and down a sunny sea front, and sitting on a side stand all day, not real riding.

Hmm. Real woodworking?

Clifton make an unbelievably radical move, from Spinach-green to charcoal-grey. Excitement all round!

Trouble is, if someone did make the effort some dull-old-fart would be complaining about how you don't need it and this'll do you...

I agree with you on the above,:  Ghastly colours for a car, Range rover etc
But i read, some time ago that silver was the best colour when selling a car,
My Berlingo is silver and hardly shows the dirt, even when it's really dirty.

Have a peep at the Bridge City Toolworks Website.

Gentlemen intending to view said site should however brace themselves as it may have an effect on their blood pressure.

Resist the urge to be creative or original until you have no alternative!

Otherwise no great difference except in fancy details and brass knobs.

You appear quite timid yourself Jacob. Or is there another Jacob?

The real me is not interested in plane "aesthetics" at all.
I'm just querying the taste of our aesthetes for 5 shades of grey (or spinach green) plus brass knobs.

So just looking for an argument?
