Hello all.
I have a chopsaw I am in the process of fettling and building a smaller norm-style table for.
It is still using it's original 15-odd tooth blade, which is designed for hacking up 2x4's and it tears everything it touches to pieces.
Can you point me in the direction of a brand or supplier of half decent blades for these saws please, and offer some guidance on what to look for to get a bit more of a refined cut? I will be mixing cutting hardwoods and softwoods, with softwoods more commonly.
I know that, for example, CMT do good blades, but I'm not sure about tooth counts, and which model in the range to go for.
If I could avoid spending a fortune, that would be great as well.
Many thanks in advance for any advice you can give.
