It's a great idea Jimi, but I'd rather have the wood clamped to the sled than holding it in. Bear in mind they're probably cutting logs with this,

That's frightening...did you see...he has no guards whatsoever on those belts! :roll:

I particularly like the log activated emergency stop system half way through!

A lot of the French farmers use almost the exact same method to split wood, my neighbour does it. The only difference is they attach the 'Thunderbirds spiral' to the back of the tractor. eeeeek is what I thought when I first saw it.

I can't see that it is that dangerous actually...after all...it's only a screw thread on a dunce's hat. I think that guy is more likely to bugger up his differential than anything else! :wink:
