Watched the Woodworkz program last night. He used his 'overhead' saw cutting on the pull stroke for larger timbers but on the push stroke for cutting lengths of beading!
But that was nothing. What made me really cringe was that he removed the crown guard and splitter from the table saw to cut rebates and proceeded to push the wood over the blade using his fingers. But the really best cringeworthy thing was that he wore woolly gloves (I assume the ones with non-slip palms) which he said were to protect his fingers while doing this!
