Guinea Pig Update

Hi all,

Just to keep everyone updated on my tuition:

Paul J was due to come for his lesson on Saturday, however, due to personal circumstances he was unable to make it. He nominated Wizer as his replacement, on the basis that he is probably one of the most active members of the forum and has done a lot for the group including organising these badges etc. He is also a raw beginner and so perfect "guinea pig" material!!

Tom (Wizer) is coming over on Saturday for his spindle turning lesson. We are also planning to pull in a visit to Cornucopia (George) while Tom's up in the Midlands. We will report back after Saturday.

I'm not sure if Richard realises what he's got himself in for. I may be returning on the train with a spindle gouge embedded in my head.... :lol:

I seem to be getting around the country lately. Maybe I should go on tour

Richard you are lucky that you have such good turners living close to you. This must be a great way to learn with the "3 WISE MEN" giving you tuition on your home ground.

He should be ok Dave as he's doing most of his journey by train and I'm driving the rest of the way. I normally find the turn ok :lol: :lol: :wink: :wink:
