Does anyone have one of these and can tell me what the clearance is?

I'm kind of assuming that they are all much of a muchness but that may be wrong. Reason for asking is that my new toy is coming on a pallet and I need to build a temporary ramp up and over the door threshold into my workshop and don't want the pallet truck to get stuck on the apex.

OK

My pallet truck is as follows

Lowest ( Down ) measurement , 1 1/2" ground clearance

Highest ( UP ) is 6" ground clearance

all measurements in good old feet and inches

Does that include the clearance to the underside of the pallet Blister?

Just that 6" sounds quite a large clearance for the normal application.

The measurements I gave are from the under side of the pallet truck arms to the ground , with no pallet on the truck , I don't have a pallet here

The bottom of a pallet will probably be about 3"inches lower than the underside of the forks....

How many do you want?? My boss throws them away by the dozens....

But yes they are about 4 inches high....so put them on a pallet truck and lose 3/4 inch plus the pallet trucks arm...there you have it.

Extra clearance can be achieved by using pallet truck to lift pallet off the ground.
Block up the palette and reposition pallet truck under lower laths.
Just need a little extra care that pallet does not slide sideways off top of forks.

Nice idea but I wouldn't like this to drop on my toes

Build ramp long, push pallet truck to top, lift/lever low end of ramp to give horizontal platform at same height as workshop floor.

After Hercules.
