One of the interesting things about living on the continent, is you ahve to deal with suppliers from over the borders from time to time. I have just done our bathroom and have fitted a new German cast iron bath in the process (from Bette) , now my German is not really good, I read it as if it was Dutch and make up the rest. In this process I ordered a bath to be used as a bath/shower, without seeing I could have ordered the grippy surface to stand on from the factory. Now I did not notice this till we started to use it and it a bit too slippy, so for now we've bought some rubber suction pads to stick down which are Ok but not the contemporary look we hoped for.

Is there a kit/process available that you can apply the grippy surface to a batch say in white little squares etc, that is permanent.

Any thoughts anyone?

Hm, now I'm having to rack my brain a little here. I remember seeing epoxy paint for floors that you could get an additive for that was like sand so you got more grip. I wouldn't be suprised if you could get white, or even clear, epoxy and do the same thing to a bath :? . Worth a quick trawl around t'internet.
