Greenhouse ideas

Hi there,

I've been asked to build a small greenhouse for a friend, but have no idea where to start or what materials to use.

Has anyone made a greenhouse?

Does anyone know where I can get hold of plans for a greenhouse?

Any other help would be appreciated.

Hi Brian,

Norm did a timber greenhouse. I don't know if it the knd of thing you are looking for. I can probably dig out the episode if you want it.

Hi Simon,

I was thinking of something a bit simpler than what Norm built. I do have that episode on tape but it looks like quite a complex build. Maybe I could modify it. I could probably get some ideas from it, but I would like to see plans for a much simpler greenhouse that I could build if possible.

Did this one about 10yrs ago, just treated 3x2 with rebates for the glass, 3x3 ridge.

Here's one I did a few years back using secondary glazing panels but could be easily adapted for glass of polycarbonate
