Good Compressor for nail gun

To be used for nailing and small spray jobs

These are 2 very different jobs.
A nail gun uses very little air as all it will do is fill the chamber ready to fire and will work on a very small compressor.
A spray gun however needs a constant flow of air and there are a lot more things to consider.

I'd buy a very small compressor - usually the type where the frame is the tank or with something like a 25L tank or slightly smaller. Any bigger and it becomes a pain to move around.

Then get a mid-level HVLP for your spraying.

Not half as noisy as say my P\T or even the 50ltr compressor I have in the garage. :mrgreen:

I'd say keep it. To spray safetly and without having overspray go every where - you'll really need to use a HVLP gun on a compressor. HVLP compressor guns are completely different to Turbine HVLP guns.

A HVLP compressor gun requires a ton of air, which most compressors within your budget (and space & power) won't put out.
