well after this years cherry crop was over, a severe pruning was in order prior to chopping it down.
As the tree was so close to my extension and its new roof, I scaffolded round the tree.

Leaving this bit, till I get a mini digger , so I can get more of the rootball out with the trunk.
Just being greedy for this timber.
Well that's it folks, just got to brush on some pva to seal the fresh ends, trim the larger braches for turning anf the remainder will go into the Rayburn once its installed
