Hi again..I know this subject is well discussed BUT does anyone have an up to date practical/commonsense answer on how to stop glasses fogging when wearing a face mask.
How can I enter my workshop and put on a face mask and safety glasses knowing that with no more 'piffling about' I will avoid my glassed fogging up.
At my very young age, ( BTW wasn't it marvellous when W Churchill returned as Prime Minister) I have safety glasses, face mask and ear buds hanging immediately available when I enter my hobby woodworking shop.
I accept that, perhaps every 3 or 4 or 5 days I may have to apply something to the glasses lens to avoid the fogging up.
I welcome any and all advice.

I've been wearing one similar to this. Can't remember the exact model without going and looking.

The vent is at the bottom, so it doesn't fog up my specs.
Comfortable mask as well as doing a good job.
The mask you suggest together with a face visor is a good solution.

I have varifocals and I really struggle with full face masks. But, as I get older I appreciate more the importance of PPE and I wear them to get my children into the habit of “safety first”!

Anti mist spray for motorcycle visors should work. The cheap alternative is a drop of undiluted washing.up liquid, rubbed on your lenses and then buffed until dry with a soft cloth.
Best is a face shield with enough air movement that you don't fog up.

As a child out in the snow my Father would rub a cut potato onto the inside of my googles to stop them misting up, as far as I remember it worked.

Yes, I wear varifocals. I wear the mask regularly with either a visor or goggles. Works well. Visor is hopeless with no mask.
Like you I wear PPE most of the time I'm actually doing something these days. Mostly I've just learned my lesson!

My respirators tend to be ok, I find it is the single use dust mask types that allow air to blow up under my safety specs. In this case I get some micro-pore or even just masking tape. rip a short strip and stick it a few times on my trousers to reduce the tack (you want it just to hold but not to require extreme force to remove) and then just stick the mask to my face over the bridge of my nose.

If you are careful it can be release and reused if you take the mask off for a bit.

If by mask you mean a rubber/silicon with cartridges or filters and not a disposable paper/fabric/spun media mask it means the mask isn't fitting correctly and your breath is pushing past the bridge of your nose. You need to get a properly fitted mask or when you inhale you are sucking in dust. A different brand, size or even the way you put it on will stop the fogging. One size does not fit all.
