Just loaded Mandriva spring 2007 and to my absolute shock it auto installed my . . .USB Modem 
That has to be a great step forward for Linux especially as it is an extremely common modem, at least here in the UK. I'm afraid the distro known as 'Linux for the masses' otherwise known as Ubuntu failed to load my Modem. . .and my printer.
