I have been able to get a free web site to introduce some of the projects and routing techniques I have produced over the years. Working with the aid of the template guides has allowed me to experiment with a greater number of projects; some of these projects are considered unsuitable for producing with the router in the table mode. (IMHO)

This is my latest attempt to introduce others to the use of the guides and hopefully I will be adding new techniques as they are developed. Many of the projects I have produced have been completed with the router in the plunge mode with the aid of the guides. I intend posting more information on the yola site as I can keep a better track of what I have submitted previously.

You are invited to have a look at what I have produced and should you consider making any comments you can send me a pm or make a posting to the forum and I will try to answer your questions. You can also email me with your personal request.

I am well aware of the techniques that I am using are new techniques, as I have never seen any such information in any other publication. There are many projects posted where I have only constructed the various jigs and templates required and I have not had a chance to present it in written form.

Some people seem to think that posting a number of photographs is sufficient to learn this new technique. IMHO It is a method that has to be taught by answering the questions posted.
Feel free to submit your questions and I will try and answer them as clearly as possible.

To those who have submitted articles are well aware it is not very easy putting such material to paper, but much simpler to do a practical demonstration so hopefully I will have more demonstrations to add to my You Tube collection, but it does take time.

I am always interested in others who may have the same passion for the use of the guides and I would be interested in what others produce. Some 25 years ago I produce my first Jig Holder and I have made a number of changes with a few alterations that have improved the method of holding the material and templates secure.

It is necessary to construct your own jigs and templates as they are not available for purchase and this is one of my pages on the new site ‘The need for Jigs’ and I mean the making of the jigs. I hope the site will generate more interest in the use of the router. All I can say is give the template guides a try you will be well rewarded with your efforts.
