Hi all,
Decided that as my sister is a nightmare to buy birthday gifts for, I'd make something for her instead.
Wanted to go for the unusual though and stray away from straight or turned cuts, and do something freehand.
I'd seen a few variants of bandsaw boxes, so decided to try one for myself - but with the scrollsaw instead, as don't have a bandsaw (yet - just need to convince the Mrs we really CAN afford one!! :lol.
Didn't want it to be completely perfect looking, instead to have a very much hand-made look about it.
Here's the final result (after a few were thrown in the brazier!! lol).
Thankfully she was delighted with it (as I'd hoped), and now I'm being asked for a few more by people she's shown it off to.
Result.
