Howdy ya'll
Just having a clearout of the tools I use a little less,
Here we have three premium planes, made to the highest standards and hugely popular and useful.
First up is the Lie Nielsen 60 1/2RN rebating block plane, this is truly an excellent tool and youll see reams of reviews online proclaiming so. It has the usual surface marks/patina you get on cast iron and softer metals. It's in excellent condition and I purchased it new for £173 from Axminster, i'm looking for £130 posted
Next up is the Veritas Small Bevel Up plane, this is essentially just a smaller version of the BU Jack, and its the width of a no3 plane rather than a no4, so its ultra useful, kinda like a big block plane! I bought an extra iron for this and in total this cost me around £240, it has an A2 iron ground for a typical 50 degree cut, and the O1 iron is ground for a low angle cut. This has a little more surface marks on it than the LN planes im selling here but still in excellent condition. I'm looking for £160 posted
Last up is the Lie Nielsen No 97 1/2 small chisel plane. It's truly a beautifully made tool, mostly from bronze! It's incredibly useful for general cabinetmaking - flushing up surfaces and getting into tight corners is a breeze on this. It's especially nice for flushing up plugs. Like my other LN for sale here it's in great condition with the usual light surface patina you get from using these tools. This new was around £150, I'm after £105 posted
Any questions get in touch,
Thanks!
