Hello friends,

I'm sorry to not be so present since I registered in this forum.

Yesterday night, my scroll saw stopped working after some strange shakes.
Now, it seems to struggle trying to reach enough power to make the arm move
but the engine is buzzing. Turning it on, it makes some cycles but it
stops right afterwards.
I am in the middle of an artistic project and I need to know as soon
as possible where I can have it repaired.
Please, may you suggest me a place, not too far from Tyne and Wear,
where to have technical assistance or if there's something I could try to fix it?
Anybody had a similar behaviour and, if so, how did you fixed it?

This is the model of my scroll saw:

Thank you.

I thought it could be the motor brushes but it appears to be an induction motor so would not have any (AFAIK). I guess it could be a gear that is slipping but difficult to tell without seeing it. Rutlands says it has a 2 year warrenty - is it older than that? Have you tried Rutlands?

Thank you for the suggestions.
I haven't already tried Rutlands because I've bought the apparel on ebay as used one so, my scroll saw doesn't have an active warranty on it.
What is worrying me is the fact that probably my man won't know how to fix the machine and we both have no idea where to go to make it repaired.

The scroll saws are so delicate and when I think that I haven't mishandle it at all... Ah, what a frustration! -.-
