I've decided to sell on my big, bad LN shoulder plane It's too big really for the sort of work I want to use it for and having just got hold of Waka's smaller bronze one, I can't really see me using it a great deal. It's about a couple of years old now in pristine condition and hasn't been used very much.
It's over £220 now and I'm looking for £150 plus p&p whatever that'll be...a few quid 'cos he's heavy  Complete with original box and book of words.
PM me if of any interest - Rob

Ditto, I sold my large and small LN shoulder planes and substituted a Veritas medium. Its a far more manageable size for what I do.

I agree - I had the large LN shoulder plane for years and found so few occasions where I could comfortably use it that I sold it in the end.

lol you guys are too much!

I'm off to Curry's to stand outside and tell the customers what rubbish their tellys are.

lol, I thought the same after I posted it.

If I was working with very large tenons it would be ok.

On a side note, Lie-Nielsen have a good video all about shoulder planes and their set up on their YouTube channel.
