Not just a music player but a web broswer as well with built-in wi-fi. Can be used as a spirit level! Literally thousands of applications are available either for free or for minimal cost. Fabulous touch screen.

I already have a small iPod nano but it's capacity was starting to get a bit limited. So I bought this new iPod Touch 32Gb on an impulse and am now thinking that my money would be better spent towards a bigger planer.

Costs £283 new from the Apple Store. Yours for £200 plus postage.

Roger

The typical street price for these is £263 with free p & p. I think you are over-valuing yours - whether you like it or not, it is second hand.

Hmmm... I was seriously considering it at £200 until you said that - sorry, Roger.

I'm sorry thomvic but what a crock of sh*t!. Overvaluing??? I would think a £63 discount on a 1 day old product was fairly good discount, find me that anywhere else on the web...

matt - If I didn't already have one I would be breaking Rogers arm off right about now!

PS No affiliation to Roger, just amazed by the reaction to this offer ;)

PPS And no offence meant to thomvic, just my personal opinion. ;)

Having experienced something similar a fair while ago when offering some woodworking related stuff for sale on the forum, I personally think it's inappropriate to critiscise or offer public comment on other peoples sale offers on the forum.

If you want it then great, or if you want to make an offer then take it to pm, otherwise leave it alone would be my polite suggestion.

Nothing worse or more unhelpful than people climbing in on sales threads just to queer the pitch for sellers imho.

Cheers, Paul :D

I will keep my mouth shut too now, I've probably said enough... ;)

No critisism was intended. I was trying to be helpful. If my comment didn't come over that way then I apologise to all.

Good luck with your sale Roger.

Richard

Mod note

Please only ask questions about the product in this thread.

I disagree in this case. It could be quite helpful to an unsuspecting potential buyer. The advert was pointed out to be somewhat misleading in terms of both the price of the new item and the reason for sale. Seems quite reasonable to me.

However, comments (good or bad) about the asking price or the quality of the product would be uncalled for, imho.
